Lovely little place. Smalller than i expected but still very nice. Food was beautiful, we had the fillet and the rib eye, cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. A 'voluntary' service charge was added to our bill without the choice, I had gone to the bathroom and noticed on the bill my partner had paid for when i came back. Bathrooms very small and dated but would return again for the steak.

Was there for my wife's Birthday with the kids. Really enjoyed it. Food was excellent. Staff excellent. Value is possibly the best in Dublin City. They came out with a dessert with a candle for my wife's Birthday and didn't charge us for it. Really decent of them. Will definitely be back again. Oh yeah, I saw some moron left a bad review about the manager/staff being rude and wouldn't let them leave without paying as "something" came up. BS review! This place gets everything right. Can't recommend it enough.

Excellent steaks and excellent service. They do an express lunch option which looked good but ordered from the al la carte. Both steaks cooked as requested and sauces/sides very lovely. Excellent cocktails too We will be back

Steaks were incorrectly cooked. Waitstaff seemed more focused on getting us out of our table on the two hours. Toilets were a mess. Tables were crammed. I won’t be rushing back here.

Visited here for lunch, was good value for money and the steak was amazing; succulent and soft. The only thing missing was the unlimited garlic bread and no mention of more chop. Nevertheless would still recommend.

menu wasn't overloaded and food preparation was excellent. Food was outstanding and deserves a HUGE callout! Never easy to get the servings ready at the same time for everyone in the group. Well done to the kitchen team and the chef! Service: sorry, but if you don't want to serve a group and are annoyed, please do not wait that table. grinning through your teeth was not necessary - i paid a bill of +600Euro and expected service to be more engaging and not friendly. that's the reason why i did not leave an additional tip. Would still return because of the food and the fair pricing, but would hope for a different waiter.

We had recently been to the Boeuf and frites in temple bar an it was so much better as we got better value for money 3 courses for €29. The beouf in south William street wasn't as good the portions were much smaller and the steak was very small for the price we paid. Over €100 for 3 people for just main courses 1 bottle of beer and a soft drink and €9 for a glass of wine. Over all I don't think we would recommend boeuf in south William it seems it's catering more for the area as it closer to all the posh shops so they think they can be more "upmarket"

The food was really good. Service was only ok, I think it’s very cheeky to include the 10% service charge in the bill when party size is small. This should be optional. It’s not an obligation to tip in Ireland but when included in the bill you feel like you have to. I have no problem tipping when service is great. To note we had 4 people on our table, it was not a large party
