   I really loved this restaurant when my girlfriends and I went last year. So, I decided to host my 25th birthday dinner there with friends. I was really embarrassed bringing my friends there after the poor service received. Our drinks took a long time to come out, & our food took an extremely long time. Our dishes all came out at different times over a period of nearly 10 minutes, so by the time all the food came out and we started eating, half the food was getting cold. My sister didn’t get her order at all, and it had to be submitted to the kitchen after everyone else had their dishes. If it were busy, we’d totally get it, we’ve worked in the industry before. But, our server was behind the bar chatting with other employees a lot of the time (I don’t know her name, but she mentioned multiple times she usually doesn’t work there?). Nobody came to check in on how our food was. One of the girls wanted to order more food, but didn’t get the chance because nobody was checking on our table. Our plates weren’t being cleared so the table was a mess. We waited long for water refills & to order more cocktails. The night just felt like a drag. My friend had to go to the bar to ask for dessert menus; we weren’t offered them. We then got dessert and paid the bills. I asked for a to-go box for my cake. After about 10 minutes of waiting for the box, another server came over and rudely told my friend (not even myself, who booked the party), that we need to leave as someone else is waiting for the table. We felt so uncomfortable because we were actually waiting on them to bring the box. After leaving, everyone from my party mentioned the discomfort we felt during this meal. I’m really not a complainer, and I’ve worked in the industry in the past, so I let a lot of things slide because I get it. Although this dinner was so incredibly awkward and uncomfortable for the whole party, I would not recommend this restaurant again.

   This was our first time eating here and absolutely loved it , Leah was awesome and helped explain the entire menu . Food was great and we were planning our next visit as we read the menu

   Cute place and good for small groups. Like the vibe. Found it a bit overpriced overall for the quality of the experience. Food was good, but a few things that keep me from rating higher.

   Service was good. Server was attentive and took care of a dish from our bill even when it wasn’t expected. Food was ok at best. Some dishes were good and some were not. We ordered several sharing plates and found seasoning was not consistent meaning some were bland, some too salty. Would I go back? probably, but not for the food.

   A very pleasant surprise and definitely on the list of go-to places for future date nights. We were seated promptly. Our server was attentive and timely. The decor and ambience are very well done with high attention to detail. Booths or perhaps some high back chairs might enhance intimate dining but the space is certainly not crammed. Drinks and food: The cocktails were excellent. We ordered two appetizers, a side, and a main for a tapas style meal. Each was very good and the jerk chicken skillet was stellar. Highly recommend and will be back again.

   Amazing food and service. Lovely spot. Interior is gorgeous but really the star was the incredible food.

   It was our second time dining at Bodega Rose. Unfortunately, this time around, the food was just average. Service was not great (ex: plates left on the table in between services). Looks like they were understaffed. Cute small local restaurant with interesting menu and hood cocktails, but not a good value at that price.

   We really liked the ambience of the restaurant when we first walked in. We were a party of four with reservations. Two large groups came in shortly after us. This made it very noisy, to the point we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk. Server started out with a bang then fizzled. She barely paid attention to us and we kept having to ask for more water, napkins, etc. She kept forgetting what she went to check for us (questions about the menu). She never cleared our plates away at the end of the meal. The appetizers we had were very good. The main dishes had a lot to be desired. We had one of them removed from our bill because it was that bad. In the end we were really disappointed. We expected an upscale dining experience but felt ignored and disappointed with the service and food. We won’t be going back any time soon.

    Great menu. Was hard to pick as everything looked delicious. Portions were very good. Wine Wednesdays are a good time to visit. Our server was personable and suggested an excellent wine. All around a great dining experience, definitely will go back
