   Michaela was a great server. The Branzino and the scallops were outstanding. The Tiramisu and the lemon blueberry cheese cake topped it off. Yummy, yummy!

   I tried the crab cake for the first time, it was okay. I compare all crab crakes to Pappas’ and comparing it to theirs it gets a 6 out of 10. Service was good, attentive and friendly!

   I do not understand how the rating for this restaurant is as good as it is. This is an expensive restaurant with terrible quality food.

   My visit was not pleasant tonight. The salad looked old as it was filled with many brown core/stalky pieces from the romaine lettuce. Also, the table setting included a very dirty white napkin; when I opened the napkin, it was filled with a black oily substance. I can’t imagine how anyone would consciously set a table using the dirty napkin. Very disappointing visit!

   I normally don't bother with negative reviews, since I know how difficult restaurant work can be. But since I was asked to write a review by OpenTable, I'll make an exception. We had lunch at Bluestone a few weeks ago with friends, and it was an enjoyable experience. So we thought we would take a friend there for dinner who was experiencing some family issues in order to give her a distraction. When we arrived at the restaurant the "hostess" never looked at us, just looked at her pad, saw my name and gave menus to her associate and, I assume, instructed her to take us to a table. The table was way over on the far side of the restaurant (the room with all the windows) and there were no other diners seated in the room. There was a soiled tissue on the floor next to the table, and several lemon seeds on the seats. We sat there for at leave five minutes, with several servers walking past us, chatting with each other, laughing and totally ignoring us. After the five minutes, I went back to the hostess to ask if we could move to another table in the adjacent room. She was very annoyed and asked, very angrily, "where do you want to sit?" I said just to a table in the next room, and she threw the menus down on the table. I mentioned to her about the soiled tissue and lemon seeds, but she said nothing and just stormed away. We then experienced the same situation, with servers walking past us and being totally ignored. This went on for at least another five minutes, and we were in seconds of leaving the restaurant when a server I hadn't seen before came to the table. Elliot F. was very nice and attentive, and we were finally able to enjoy the meal. The manager did come by our table at one point to ask how everything was, and we told him about the above. He did apologize and said he would speak to the staff. The host or hostess is the first impression one has of a restaurant and it should be a welcoming, positive impression.

   Great meal and even better service. Loved meeting a friend for dinner on a quiet Monday night vs. a weekend, where anywhere you go would be more crowded.

   Food & service were very good. The one negative is everyone was seated so close together that it made it hard to hear someone at your table. When there are large groups in a restaurant of course it will get loud. Need to seat parties further apart when the restaurant is not super busy

   We had not been there for a long time. We all had different appetizers and entrées and every one loved what they ordered! We will be back soon.
