   The food was very good, and good value. The compulsory service charge of 14.5% is higher than most and bumps the price up significantly. We loved the layout and ambiance of the restaurant. Service was without exception efficient and polite, but we all felt it was just wasn't very friendly which is a great shame. A welcoming and friendly approach costs nothing and stays in the memory.

   We had the Jan menu and it was great value. Service was fantastic. Manager helped out as well

   Firstly we were kept waiting to be seated for over 20 minutes past our allocated slot. The communication was appalling and in the end, I had to resort to saying we would be leaving if we were not seated soon. The service was very slow (just not enough staff on) all the food was cold, my husband almost choked several times as his fish was full of bones in the end he gave up on it. And left it. My steak should have been medium when in fact it was raw in places and as tough as old boots with lots of gristle totally inedible . The side of greens were cold and almost raw. The chips were cold and soggy. Very disappointing at a £150 per head. We have had a few off meals at the blue bird, but this one was the worst. Will never go back.

   The food was fantastic! Service was good. It threw us off that it turned into a nightclub vibe later in the evening, but nonetheless fun. Security outside was a little intimidating, even though we were clearly there with our family for dinner. It gave off a less than friendly welcome. Overall, it was a great place to eat though and we would return.

   My wife and I went with my daughter’s family for dinner on Boxing Day. There were seven us ranging in ages from grandparents to grandchildren. All of us ordered various dinners and each us raved about our meals. The service was outstanding and the family atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. A perfect family restaurant in Chelsea with reasonable prices.

   Went for Christmas dinner so may have just been a one off experience but everything was just okay. The staff clearly had some issues because we sat near the kitchen door and heard constant arguing and directions to staff. Food didn’t have a lot of flavor. Steamed veggies with no seasoning were the side they offered which was just sad.

    mediocre at best.  i have never been on a cruise ship, but i assume xmas lunch on one would be very similar.  pre-made, serving to masses
