    Our Anniversary is on Valentine’s Day. We dined Blue Jay’s Bistro Last Year and the experience was incredible. This Year was a Different Experience. The Lobster Beignets were ok , but not superb for the Apptizer. The Main Entree the both my wife and I order was the scallops with a beer Medley. The Scallops were a bit, over salted. The Beet Medley look like Juicy Raw Hamburger. And it was not Enjoyable, hard to eatbmore that a few bits. We ask for the Manager, and did offer free Desserts, which were Delicious. Being a Fine Dining Restaurant, more should have be done. I think it' was a different chef, than the previous year. Any entree should be approved by the Owners and Manager for Approval. Which I'm guessing was not. We will not be return Customers.! And that is a shame because of the limited chooses in the Lake Gaston Area.

    Excellent customer service and food. We had to make a change to our reservation at the last moment. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful and accommodating to our last-minute change. Atmosphere was magnificent.

    The service was outstanding. They took their time with every guest. There was no rush. Food wise -Superb. The chef really is a master of his craft. Such a hidden gem in a small town.

    We had a party of 8 before a show at the Acorn Center. They asked us at the start if we were attending a show so they could manage accordingly. Service was excellent and timely. Everyone was very happy with their meal.

    Things have changed a bit. The wine list could use some serious improvement. It was beautiful from opening-2023. The lighting. It was bright and surgical in the back bar area. I loved that area, in particular, when it was dimly lit. It had a wonderful lounge like feel. Please spruce up the wine list (especially whites) and dim the lights. Thank you! Look forward to returning in a couple of weeks.

    It was our 32nd anniversary and they gave us a private booth which is what we requested! They had the employees sign a card and wished us a happy anniversary. Our waiter was super and the manager was also! The food was amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant!
