   Always delicious and very accommodating. Open ambience, not cramped, with delicious extras like an amuse bouche and warm popovers—things that set it apart from other restaurants in the neighborhood

   The timing of of dinner was off. The appetizers came out in a timely manner, but the main course took an extraordinary amount of time to come out and dessert was much the same.

   Excellent overall…..not the restaurant’s fault but we were seated next to a very loud table of 6 women ….no “ inside voices” @ that table….again not the restaurant’s fault….. everything else was beyond excellent !

   This is the first time we visited the new location. the waiter was nice, but a little pushy. We were planning on getting the porter house and the cowboy, and the waiter highly recommended the king cut from the special's menu. He swore it is better than the porter house and the cowboy. They sent the chef to show us the piece of meat and it looked very big (60oz) and fatty. for the appetizer we ordered the yellow tail carpaccio, they put so much vinegar and the fish you sliced so thin you couldn't taste anything but the vinegar. overprice and underdelivered! The steak came to the table on a nice platter, it was cut in stripes however it cooled off very quickly. The steak itself was cooked medium; however it had a VERY strong flavor or rosemary, which took over the entire experience and if you are not a rosemary fan then stay away. Overall, in my experience the king cut is not better that the good old porter house and we were all very disappointed with the experience.

   It is always so great. Wagyu meatballs, Dover sole, asparagus, hen-of-the-woods mushrooms. This time we got a side on the specials list...parmesan smashed fingerling potatoes in duck fat. Incredible. The most consistent restaurant that we go to.

   The service is HORRENDOUS. We were still eating appetizers/ starters while the servers were taking away our utensils to set up for dinner. They took the butter away for the popovers… took a martini with blue cheese olives that had 1/6 left and 2 olives. They give appetizer forks for sides in lieu of spoons… the wine list has about 8 cabs that are not on the reserve list . Get it together .. which they brought me a dirty glass for.. My steak was supposed to be medium rare it was medium. My husband’s cowboy was supposed to be medium but it was medium rare. No one ever asked us how anything was and our steaks had a terrible if any sear, and under seasoned.. Food was brought out WAY too quick, like they are just trying to turn tables. I’d highly suggest going elsewhere. This was one of my most disappointing meals in a long time.

   Excellent service, we shared a filet, it was perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth tender. Love the popovers. Eaten here several times, never disappointed.
