Our Chef’s take inspiration from Billy Madison who drew a blue duck because he had never seen one before, and he wanted to see a blue duck! Well, since our chefs love classic Adam Sandler humor and innovative cooking, we thought that Bleu Duck was the perfect name to showcase our fun environment and staff as well as our unique and creative menu. Just like Billy, we like to try things that you’ve never seen before!

Bleu Duck Kitchen and Oyster Bar is a full service restaurant that provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere where white linens meet a casual feel to create the new concept of “fun-dining”. Co-Owners Erik Kleven and Jennifer Lester regard each customer as a welcomed friend, and aim to provide them with an experience that is both personal and unique every time they visit.

We had a wonderful experience at Bleu Duck. Everything we tried was unique and delicious. Definitely planning to eat here again on our next visit to Rochester.

First time visit and didn’t know the “lay of the land” for brunch. We were seated right by the music. Musician was good, but way too loud. Couldn’t hear the waiter and the noise level went up exponentially as soon as the restaurant filled up. Food was excellent! Love being able to make a reservation and we’ll be back, but will sit in the bar area instead.

First time diners at Blue Duck....Corbin took great care of us. Overall service was lightning fast, yet we were relaxed the whole time. great knowledge of the menu. We had both the Salmon and the Squash--would do it all over again! Can't wait to come back!

Original, thoughtful, well prepared and presented entrees. Extensive cocktail, wine and beer selection. All rolled up in friendly service made for a “ well be back” experience.
