   Went there to try the deep dish pizza. It was very good. The bar tender ended up also being our server. Guy named Christian, real nice guy. Did good work.

   Last time was in the place two months ago and everything was well! However, for some reason this visit today 10/13/24 was not so pleasant! The food was cold and not as I expected and the service was not very good as the server or host got our order wrong and did not own up to it even though I told twice what I needed and showed it on my phone too just to make sure it was correct! Yet not really and started to get upset telling us this is what you ordered! And I said no then the manager came saying did you order this, I said no ! I also told him that I showed it from my phone too! Finally not so pleasant and price was high compared to quantity and portion!

   Server dropped one of our entrees and we still hadn’t gotten the new one by the time all 8 of the rest of us had finished eating…well, eating what we could stomach bc most of the pasta was cold, the meatballs were mushy, the toast on my club sandwich was burnt and my son in laws lemon pepper wings had no lemon pepper. Terrible experience and so unfortunate bc we had a really great experience at BJs in Cary.

   BJ’s wasn’t very busy but it took forever for our food to come out, and then it came out a couple dishes at a time. There were 9 of us. The people in our party who got their food first were long done eating by the time the last three of us got our meals and even then, my meal - the final one - came after the other two were about 1/3 of the way through their food. The quality of the food was just so-so with a number of us getting cold food - burgers, pizza, and pasta were cold. Very disappointing as we love the BJ’s in our home town.

   The food was good and the portions were generous. Our server was very polite and was working very hard but the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed.

   I feel sorry for the server and manager. Took us 1.5 hrs to get our food and half of it was missing. Then it was cold. Place is a mess. Tables not cleared. Don’t know how you stay in business. Manager was gracious and comped our meal but on Mothers Day how can you be so poorly prepared for consumers?

   Our reservation was not honored, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. I think this was due to it being Mother’s Day and poor staffing. Our server was very good. She just had too many tables to cover. The food was good but came out slower than expected. I don’t think they had more than one person clearing tables. I guess like all restaurants they need more staff.

    25 minute wait after our appointment time, server was not attentive to our table, food was not good. Steaks were to salty and had to send one back, I ordered a ribeye and didnt eat but a few bites so a waste of $32.00. Pizza was mostly bread. They didnt have any wings either. Maybe a good place for a beer but the food is not worth it.
