   The food here is fabulous! Half of our party of four ordered the daily special branzino which was beautifully prepared. The other half of our party enjoyed their salmon. Cocktails were creative and yummy. All of us ordered the crepes suzette for desert which provided a lovely end to the meal. The chef clearly takes food preparation seriously with outstanding results. Service was friendly. The servers kept quite busy!

   We had a lovely experience at Bistro Du Jour, our first visit. It was a Sunday at noon. We loved our cocktails. My wife got the Collette’s Punch, which was refreshing. I got the Champs Eylsèese, which was tasty and fruity. We share a Tarte Flambèe, which is a French flatbread. The caramelized onions really make the dish. My wife’s entree was the quiche. Great balance of well cooked egg and flaky crust. I had the omelette, which had a nice goat cheese. The portions were just right for us to have enough room to share a crème brûlée. Nicely done. Our favorite part was the live jazz duo. It was romantic and chill. We will be back.

   When we arrived, we order glasses of sparkling wine. they arrived Flat! We asked for replacements and they tried to tell us they were a bistro. Finally they brought glasses of wine with bubbles. That set the evening. I felt the service and food were very ho hum. I was visiting from out of town and I wouldn't put this restaurant on my return list.

    Great food. Varied menu. Christian was wonderfully attendant. Enjoyed our date night meal enormously.
