Bistro 555 is under new ownership by a group of long-time friends including the owners of former Le Mistral and Cafe Rabelais, established French institutions in Houston. With a joint-experience of over 5 decades, Bistro 555 will transport you to the different regions of France with traditional bistro fares. Our specialties include Escargot in sizzling garlic butter, onion soup topped with melted gruyere cheese, Moules-Frites, Cassoulet, and profiteroles. We also serve wood-oven fired pizzas.     Wonderful experience and the food was beyond delicious! Our server was sweet, patient and helpful in our dinner and wine selections. Definitely has the feel of a cozy and charming French bistro!

    The food, especially the moules and red snapper were excellent. It was very busy and we had to wait awhile to get the wait staff’s attention for additional silverware and extra plates. The crepe Suzette advertised as a flaming one was not. This was disappointing and I would not order that again.

    Very cute place. We had the onion soup, escargot, and mussels. Food was good, but nothing stood out as noteworthy. Maybe some of their other dishes are better.

    We wanted to try Bistro 555 because we heard good things. We were not disappointed. We arrived just before our reservation time. The lady order a salad and the Escargot and I order the Chickee Fricassee. Service was timely. Both dishes were excellent. Made my lady's evening. When we arrived I asked if there was a possibility of an inside table. Unfortunately only outside tables were available. However after a short while the hostess came over and told us an inside table have become available, This type of service help make the evening. A word of caution on the parking. The parking lot is extremely limited and there is another restaurant in the same strip center. We decided to park around the corner in the subdivision and make the short walk.
