Set among an 18 acre vineyard and lavender farm the restaurant boasts spectacular views of the vines and lake. The seasonal menu offers versatile small plates made for sharing and delicious entrees all created using locally grown produce and inspired by classic French and European cuisine with a modern twist making our territories exceptional flavour profiles come to life! Pastries and baked goods made in house are available. The winery tasting bar is open daily. Enjoy one of our 4 patios or sit by our cozy fireplace and enjoy the culinary creations of Bistro 42.

    My husband ordered the Wild Boar for $42, it was served with no vegetables, just meat on a plate and was tough on the outside and looked nothing like online picture. I ordered the lamb pasta which was very good however small portion. We were charged $56 for a bottle of Pino Noir Special Edition Wine. Server said it was 30% off and also cheaper to buy the bottle than order four glasses of wine at $9 each. The math does not work. No bread, salad included with meal.

    We enjoyed their Thursday date night special they had going for the month of December with live music, candlelit tables and half off bottles of wine. The service and food was great!

    Wines are excellent especially oak barrel Chardonnay and Cab Sauvignon reserve. We had the special lamb shank which was very good. Service was outstanding, thank you Trish!!!
