   The atmosphere was amazing. Server was very inexperienced and slow to provide service. My Wagu short rib was the worst cut of meat I’ve ever had at an upper end restaurant. Overall top 3 worst meals ever on vacation.

   We’ve been several times before and the first couple of times were very impressed with the food and staff. The last couple of times things got progressively worse in terms of service and this visit was the worst by far. We had unbelievably slow service from the wait staff; the restaurant wasn’t crowded but every step took way too long. Dinner was a 2.5 hour affair unnecessarily. It took 20 minutes before any wait staff approached the table and continued like that throughout the night. The menu has changed for the worse. Food was overpriced and smaller in size. While the location is great and the support staff worked hard to refill waters and clear the table when we were finished, we will not be returning.

   Food is very overpriced for not being good at all. I understand it’s a resort, but wow the food was very very bad.

   This restaurant is tucked into another restaurant in the hotel. We ate at outside deck which was nice. Food choices were limited. Almost all food is presented on tabletop grills. The fish skewers were overcooked/dry. Service was fine- nothing to complain nor rave about

   Their ‘hot rock’ dining experience plates are unique and fun to share with friends. We had one meat and one fish skewer plates and really enjoyed the food and trying the various sauces served with it (though the ribeye was a tad overdone on the hot plates). Fairmont orchid lawn setting at night a wonderful atmosphere for a upscale dining experience.

   The place was pretty pricey for the food quantity. It’s good for special occasions and not for regular dining. The waiter wanted us to hear the ingredients of the dish and didn’t want us to interrupt his script.

   Pros: The restaurant is very attractive. The food tasted very, very good. Cons: Although we had reservations and the restaurant had many empty tables, we waited a long time to be seated. Service was extremely slow. We had to ask for water to be refilled. My wife’s knife came dirty. When she sent it back, instead of giving her a new, clean knife, the waiter washed the old one and brought it back wet. The food portions were very small and overpriced.

   A bit pricey and everyone orders the hibachi meal brought to the table because it’s the best deal and presented very well. A calm and relaxing dinner
