   This was my first visit to Belotti. We thought the food and service were excellent. Both of us had their Belotti porchetta with potatoes. We would certainly return for the same meal next time we are on Clement. But we also should try some of the other things. The restaurant also sells some Italian specialties like a jar of truffle sauce, cantuccini, wine like an Italian alimentari.

   The special pizza which was house focaccia with burrata and arugula and prosciutto was incredible. Still dreaming about it. Lovely staff. Very sweet spot

   An absolutely glorious evening catching up with friends & enjoying delicious bites. We over indulged on the apps, but were thrilled with the selection. We sipped a very interesting white from Sardinia that tasted like orange blossoms drifting in the breeze, and we camped out for hours while still feeling welcome and well taken care of. Robert’s gnocchi was a highlight as were the twice baked potatoes. We will return to this neighborhood spot in one of the hotter food scenes in San Francisco.

    While, the food was good. The portion size was a little small. The roasted cauliflower was very good but wish the portion was a bit larger for sharing with my dining partner. The 1/2 rotisserie chicken was good, nice and moist but be aware this is a Cornish Hen not a regular sized chicken, which is fine for one person. While the chicken was tasty it felt a little under seasoned and lacked any sort of herb or other seasoning, a little rosemary would have been nice. The bandolo for dessert was delicious. We were seated in the front section and every time the door opened we got a blast of cold air. Maybe the store should have been located in the front and the seating in the back where the kitchen is? This would also allow people to just visit the shop without disturbing the diners. It would also have diners entering and exiting via the shop perhaps boosting sales?
