   Fantastic service start to finish. Our favorite Appetizer is the Tuna Wagu. The dry aged strip steak is a standout and we preferred it to the tomahawk ribeye which was also amazing. Our waiter recommended 2 great wines with our meal . Great experience so we’ll be back on our next visit to Tampa.

   Lovely experience. John C was waiter (silver tie). Very knowledgeable. Tour of wine cellars and kitchen a must!! Too full for dessert room (this time). A bucket list for those who come to Tampa!! Plan ahead to get earlier reservations (I planned 3 months ahead).

   The first trip to Bern’s exceeded expectations. The sever ice and outstanding and food was spot on. The tour of the kitchen and wine cellar is an absolute MUST! Finished the evening in the dessert room which is whole nother incredible experience in it self! Only complaint, we were there for our anniversary dinner and the two of us were set at a table in middle of an extremely loud room where we were surrounded by large tables of 6-8 people.

   The value you get is great but the steak is not on par with other steak houses in the area.

   They gave me a steak the wrong temperature and by the time they fixed it , my wife was finished with her meal. So much for our romantic dinner together. They also sat us next to a table with young children and a sick man that spasmodically coughed throughout dinner. I am super disappointed with our experience.

   Bern is a great experience. I have had better steaks but the combination of great drinks (try the old fashioned), a three course meal, the tour of the kitchen and wine room, and the dessert floor. No better experience! The service is professional and engaging. You have to experience Bern!

    Have been to Berns many times and this time was unfortunate. We had reservations but everything by felt rushed. The server butterflied my filet without asking me and I’m sorry but this isn’t outback, who butterflies a $60 filet mignon at what is supposed to be a high end steakhouse?!? Went up to the dessert room after dinner where it was nothing but a bunch of college age kids working and chit chatting in corners instead of tending to customers. I ordered the baked Alaska cake and 2 college boys were heard standing outside our sort calling it “worst Alaska” cake and making fun of the food being served. They continued to stand outside the door just loudly having conversations that customers shouldn’t hear. Overall very dissatisfied with the food and service. Berns, do better when it comes to hiring the appropriate staff of a high end steakhouse house and NEVER butterfly a filet unless someone specifically requests its it. I don’t care if it speeds up your cooking time, I’m the one paying!
