   The online reviews of Berkelo Kitchen were glowing, so I booked for a Sunday birthday lunch for six. We did enjoy the authentic Italian food, though some of the main course dishes were a bit pricey, and a 10% surcharge is applied on Sundays. The ambience is nothing special though, it is little better than a scout hall! Also, various issues with the service could definitely be improved: two ordered items were unavailable; our water glasses were never topped up; desserts were delivered about 15 minutes after the coffees, when they were ordered together; and my tea was served as tea leaves in a grubby milk jug of hot water- no teapots? All in all, not what the reviews led me to expect. It was less than half full today, so perhaps better that they just rebrand as a brunch/lunch café? Burnt Orange in Mosman offers way better service, value and ambience.

   The food was excellent, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Noise level was a little high for those of us of advancing years.

   Me and my partner had the best experience at Berklo kitchen! The food was bloody delicious, all the staff were lovely and the vibes were high! Defs be back again sooon x

   We had an absolutely gorgeous evening at Berkelo kitchen. The food was exquisite, nourishing and beautifully presented. It was served at a pace that gave the evening a sense of discovery and the wait staff, bar staff and maitre d' were all delightful.

   Beautifully prepared dishes and authentic, personable service. We dined outside on the deck, but inside had a beautiful atmosphere too. 10/10, we’ll be back

   the standard menu is excellent and extremely tasty. however, the special mains are very expensive, so we have never tried them. the wine list is limited but we have always enjoyed the ones we have had.

   Absolutely outstanding meal & service, the team were so attentive throughout the whole meal. We chose the set menu with the impression we would select out of the 3 choices of main but were so surprised when we got all 3. It was amazing food and cannot wait to go back again.

    First time at Berkelo, I had heard that their pasta was excellent and it didnt disappoint. My Sardinian ravioli with mussels was wonderful as was my companions tagliatelle, rich, creamy and delicious. The wine list has some nice italian varietals including a soave and fiano, good to see, and the bread was amazing. Service was excellent and nice to see this small dining room full of happy diners.
