   We were sat with a group allergic to egg, shrimp and lobster. Did not get all the table side experience because could not have egg with the fried rice. Did not get the lobster till the end and cook had forgotten to cook it until we reminded him about it.

   After a mix-up at check in we had a good time. Typical Hibachi dinning experience. Our server and chef were great. The food was good.

   Our Chef Johnny was outstanding. One of the best there is. I would most definitely recommend.

   Compared to other chains, this location is way overpriced and with lower quality food.

   Benihana experience seems to be deteriorating. Our server was abrupt & we had to ask for our dessert even though it was included with our meals. Chef was courteous but our meal was served completely out of order due to a seafood allergy with one of the people seated with us. As a result our shrimp appetizer as well as the scallop portion of our order was not served until the end of the meal. Whole experience was very disappointing give the expense of the entrees.

   Great place to celebrate a birthday if your stressed for ideas. Staff was very welcoming and energetic. Meal selections to satisfy every taste and portions were tasty and generous. Also liked the holiday drink specials.

   Having been to Benihanas-San Francisco in the '70s I experienced it at its finest. I chose to celebrate my 68th birthday at Benihanas based on the promotion and positive feedback I had read. Apparently there's two Benihanas in Las Vegas and I went to the wrong one. The one in a major casino is the only one that you want to go to. The other in the Fashion Show Mall is a glorified food court fast food joint disguised as an upscale restaurant including hidden prices. From the beginning even though we were on time we had to wait for the others to show in order to be seated at the communal table. Which costs us $40 for two cocktails waiting at the bar. When we were finally seated at a crowded table, our drinks were taken but I didn't receive my hot sake until after my soup and salad and had to waive a hostess down to heat it up. Our poor waitress was too busy with too much work. The food was subpar, tasteless, and unattractive. So non japanese. The chefs were hacks, one having just started three months earlier, a transport from Panda Express. Which explained why he dropped onions into our sauce bowls as he flung our small portions onto our huge plates. They catered to a large 21 year old birthday group at the table and I hoped they tipped them well as I am far too big of a tipper and didn't appreciate being served the smallest steak and portions of everything else. At booking my reservation they offered a $10 bonus gift card with the purchase of $50 only to find that it wasn't good until after the New Year. Then the flambeing of a volcano was embarrassing and seemed useless at the end of the dinner while eating dessert and the chefs were cleaning up their work area. Oh and our busboy turned into a chef at the next table which to me lowered the dining experience even more. I guarantee you, Rocky is turning over in his grave. Shame on you Benihanas-San Fashion Show Mall.
