We visited for a date night before attending a performance, and it was a great choice. The service was well-timed, and we appreciated that there was no rush to finish, which allowed us to enjoy our evening. We were seated just in time for happy hour, which was a wonderful bonus. We each had a couple of Old Fashioneds, which were well-made and set the mood for the evening. For dinner, we both tried the Hot Honey Chicken, and it was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and very satisfying. While this restaurant is a bit more casual than our usual pre-show spots, it had a laid-back, after-work vibe that was refreshing. I’d definitely return next time—I’m glad we stepped out of our usual routine!

Fantastic service, great food. A bit loud, but we could clearly hear one another at the table. Great Brussels Sprouts and fantastic desserts. A bit pricey, but it is downtown in the theater district.

Wonderful experience and fantastic service. We went on a Friday after work before seeing La Boheme. …cozy and fun vibe. Perfect pre-theater restaurant a block away from Lyric Opera.

Great food... Was a little worried about counter top service, but it was fine. As the restaurant became more crowded it was a little hard to hear. The food was excellent and the service was fast, kind and very energetic.

We had a fabulous waiter and the food was excellent! We had guacamole that was amazing! The chili was great and the skirt steak and fried chicken were delicious, too.

Outstanding service - our party grew at the last minute and I know that is a nightmare for restaurants- the team at Beatrix handled it so graciously. Such a professional and friendly management team and host staff

Went to dinner at Beatrix- I ordered fried chicken - what I got was very fried and heavily coated chicken tenders. The service was terrible- there was one waiter and there were large parties that were trying to be accommodate as well. I will not be coming back for dinner again!
