BCN Taste & Tradition, the name gives a nod to Barcelona and the meld of traditional and modern Spanish cuisine. Chef Luis Roger relocated from Girona, Spain - trained under Michelin Chef Ferran Adria at elBulli- and taught at the renowned culinary school Aula Gastronomica de l’Emporada.

Located on a 1920’s era Victorian home in the trendy Montrose/Museum District (4210 Roseland St.). BCN Taste & Tradition will recreate an authentic Spanish style dining experience with unparalleled service. The menu will showcase all the fantastic, cutting-edge haute cuisine that put Spain on the world stage.

Credit card info required for reservations larger than 5 guests. A $50/person fee will be charged if you are unable to cancel within 48 of your scheduled time or if your party decreases in size within 24 of your reservation. No fee will be assessed for transferring the reservation to a different name.

    We left the restaurant telling each other "this is on the short list of the best meals we have had in our lives." The service was perfect, Eder "Eddy" and the whole team were on point. Eder's wine and cocktail selections were perfect and in line with what we ordered. The suckling pig was amazing. I found myself wondering how did they cook this?! The deserts were stars. Churros were so crispy. Sometimes places get Michelin stars just for technique with no purpose. Yeah, there were dishes that were too precious. I don't need a deconstructed patas bravas. But even when it was too fancy, I could see the point and the sum of the culinary parts were worth the price. I know they emphasize gin, but the vermouth was the best I have had outside of Barcelona. This was the whole shebang. I would absolutely drive out of my way in an old car, wearing out my Michelin tires to eat here and advise you to do the same. Lastly, they had live music that was perfect, kudos to them too.

    We sat at the bar (Javier was amazing) and had a full dinner and cocktails/wine. Very comfortable and excellent service. Food is very good, seasonal G&T was fantastic. They brought some original Picasso pottery painting for us to see up close as well. Would highly recommend!

    BCN for sure deserved to have a Michelin star. Their food is an art; presented beautifully, tasted excellent and reasonably priced. We will return. Parking can be challenging but there is valet service.

    I had a great dinner at BCN. After reading about it in the media, I thought it was definitely a place to try. Our food was all very good. I had the Spanish Ibérico Ham Croquettes followed by the Grilled 8oz filet mignon* with BCN potatoes, glazed pearl onions, carrot purée, sweet potato chips, served with Grandma’s sauce and ended it all with the Crispy Fillo Dough, Catalán Vanilla Brûlée and Aged Rum Raisins. All of these items had great taste and the filet was cooked as requested. We had our dinner at the bar since there were no table reservations that worked time-wise, so the service was excellent as we were right there with our server. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasantly refined. It had a comfortable vibe with a sophisticated charm being in the old house. Overall I would recommend as a must try

    It was a fantastic experience and everything we had was exceptional! Our Server was welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, it felt like eating at your mom’s table (if your mom was a Michelin starred chefs;)). We will definitely be back next time we are in Houston!
