   Delightful! Great, well informed service. Amazing, creative and delicious food in beautiful setting. Terrific bar program. Comfortable. Best meal I have had in Philadelphia in a very long time!

   Unfortunately, not the number 1 restaurant in Philly. The hotel was awesome.....waiting over 2 hours for our main entree was not!

   I’m grateful that Bastia is in Fishtown. It lives up to both the hype of very good food, and also being quite expensive. Fishtown needed another higher end restaurant, and I’m thrilled Bastia is that restaurant, but like many of them here, the overall experience doesn’t quite equate to the total spend. I’m happy we went, I was very happy with the food and drinks and service - It was just probably 10-15% more expensive than the full experience warranted.

   “I am a happy camper” - my fiancé. From the moment we sat for our bar reservation, our bartender Jason was gave a wonderful welcome with special shots, similar to limoncello. We enjoyed mezcal cocktails and the cava rose’. The food was outstanding!!! We started with the artichoke salad (super hearty! Amazing dressing) and then had the skate cheeks with creamy polenta and an orrechiete pasta with chanterelle mushrooms (again amazing sauces!!) The service was impeccable and the ambiance was very bougie boho and the leather, saddle style bar seats were super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Ana & Bell and can’t wait to come back to Bastia as well. Thank you!!!

   We waited 50 minutes after we ordered before one of our order showed up and it was just a fennel salad. Took another 45 minutes for the rest of the dishes to come out (there were only three dishes) and only after I complained and I asked for some breads because we were starving. This was lunch time on a Saturday and the restaurant was not full by any means. They forgot one other dish and coffee and at that point I just couldn’t be bothered. Food was just okay too. Burger was the best thing, I enjoyed the fried and the bacon onion jam on the burger. They made no attempts beyond words for apologies even though we waited so long for the food and only one of them was good and the others were mediocre. Also never got the bread that I asked for. This was a reservation for my brother’s birthday and I’m truly embarrassed that I took them here

   Food was incredible. It took two hours to get through brunch and we were the first ones in the restaurant however, the restaurant comped half the meal, which was very nice. The food was the best part. The ambience is beautiful, but I don’t know why it took so long to get through a simple brunch meal

    Fresh and delicious food with excellent service all around. I especially appreciated our bartender who was knowledgeable about both the food and drink menu in depth and the recommendations were a hit. Good cocktails, and the food was bright and always balanced.
