   A rotating menu is offered, so the experience with food may be slightly different. However, the food was prepared perfectly and the server was excellent. We will try it again.

   We started with the oysters Rockefeller and the chopped salad—highly recommend the salad, it’s a must-try! For our mains, I had the short ribs and my husband ordered the filet mignon—both were absolutely incredible. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and the fun, vibrant decor added to the great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

   Normally a wonderful experience however Thursday night two of the four entrees arrive with an explanation of the filet and Dover sole were overcooked and they will be out in about 7-8 minutes. Leaving the two men with entrees and the ladies with nothing. Not a great look for the kitchen.

   Dinner at Baron’s on 1st never disappoints. We had 8:30 dinner reservations for the restaurant area and were running late so I called to see if we could move to 9:00. The sweet hostess said, “not a problem, see you then”. Everything about this place is the crème of the crop. We weren’t super hungry so we wanted to split a dinner entree. We ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare, which comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious! The only problem with the entree was the amount of salt in the mashed potatoes. Other than that it was amazing. I took a friend from Oklahoma City with me and he had never been there. His words were, “that is the best filet I’ve had in years!” We will most definitely be going back to Baron’s on 1st! Thank you to everyone for the top notch service.
