   First time going to Barnwood Grill. BG offered good food & drinks, a nice atmosphere that is not too noisy, and solid service. Where I think they really differentiate themself in an area where there are a ton of very similar restaurants is how much more reasonably priced their menu options are vs. the rest. We had a great night and will be working this restaurant into our rotation. Was surprised to that the restaurant closed at 10pm though.

   As always lived their entrees. The Newtown Chicken was amazing and tender.

   Checks on the boxes on an excellent dining experience. From out of town, but we make it a point to return here when in the neighborhood. Thumbs up.

   We had a 5pm reservation on a Friday night. My husband and I got there early, the other party was late but we gave the hostess a heads up. We went to the bar for a cocktail. The bartenders were very friendly. Af5er the other party arrived we went o our table. Our waitress was super nice. Everytime she came to our table she had a big smile on her face. We all loved our food (steaks, salads, seafood), everything was cooked very well. We even got dessert which was also amazing. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to others.

   This has been our go to restaurant for years now prior and during the pandemic..whether we do takeout as we did during the COVID or in person ..always great food and service...my husband always gets a hello from the manager and ambience is great during the summer and we always go during the holidays as well as love the fireplace and decorations ...our boys love to go with us when they're up from the NYC..Newtown is always our place of restaurants coming from Brookfield.

    Easily one of the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Sat down waiter took our order 30 minutes later. Food was not out. Waiter never came by till we had a flag him down. He then proceeded to tell us that the kitchen was really busy, I explained 30 minutes to a long time which he said the food would be right out. 15 minutes later I talked to the owner she said they lost our ticket so obviously they didn’t get their story straight. She then said the food would be right out another 15 minutes later the food finally came out so we waited an hour for our food. The food was average at best, they did comp our meal, but it did not make up for the hour. We spent there and never once were empathetic about our situation.
