   Dinner at Bar Vlaha was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered 3 different spreads and all of them I enjoyed, the eggplant one and the feta one were fantastic. The butter the bread came out with might have been the best butter I’ve ever had in my life. We got several drinks, I had a carbonated beverage that tasted like a well balanced hard cider(rakomelo), my girlfriend got the golden solstice both drinks were well balanced while packing a punch but not being overly alcohol forward. We got the sausages and fried cheese, I could literally eat three orders of the fried cheese. For entrees we got lamb chops and braised beef cheek, I don’t even like lamb and I’d order that time and time again. The braised beef cheeks fell apart in your mouth. For dessert we had the sampler, all unreal, the chocolate hazelnut and baklava being the stars of the show. Andres was our server, he was personable, professional and was fun to joke around with. Glad that we could come in and be a fun laid back table. If you are rating Bar Vlaha anything under 4 stars even if something went wrong or an error happened, I think you’re out of touch. Overall in my top 3 restaurants in Boston currently. Thank you Andres and Bar Vlaha from Joe & Meghan.

   Every dish was delightful, after living in Boston/Brookline for 3 years and exploring the food scene, I can confidently say this is one of the best restaurants around.

   The food was wonderful Valentina did an excellent job with the timing of our plates along with her knowledge of the menu She is an excellent server! We already booked another reservation before we left

   What I love is my meal came late--my brunch mates came easily 10 min before mine. They took care of us though and were so kind and thoughtful!

   First time there after hearing so much about it. Our server was attentive and warm. The food was outstanding. The flavors were all so deep and complex. I would definitely go back

   Amazing food and service, as always! Spacious inside though a bit loud. Love the waitstaff- they’re all very Personable and clearly enjoy being at Bar Vlaha as much as the patrons! The Melitzana Yahni is not to be missed!

   We had lunch today and needless to say, we’re shocked by the mediocrity of the food. This restaurant is one of the highest rated in the Boston area. Basically, tasteless. They talk up the bread and I guess people buy and take home. No thanks. It was stale. We are very disappointed. Don’t get me started on the price!

   All the meat was cooked exceptionally well (we got the meat board sampler) and was juicy and tender.

    Highly recommend. First time with lunch resy, and it was fantastic! Far exceeded expectations. Servers (and runners) were attentive to us, even with a food allergy making sure we were ok, drinks were superbly crafted, food was delicious, ambiance and noise level was perfect- full restaurant, but it felt quiet that we could actually hear each other. Great experience all around! Kudos to the team!
