The neighbourhood Italian restaurant you’ve always dreamed of, Bar Prima features a luxurious atmosphere that evokes a sense of timelessness and nostalgia. The restaurant design captures an old-school charm with dimly lit ambiance, creating an elevated and elegant atmosphere. From Italian disco inspired music to vintage design touches, Chefs Craig Harding and Julian D’Ippolito have curated a space that feels as though it’s been there forever.

Bar Prima can at times feel opulent with its banquets and table lamps but can also feel relaxed and romantic. We seek to share our passion for food, beverage and hospitality, creativity and design with our open-minded guests!

The server Jarrod anticipated all our needs before we even asked, filled our glasses, already put in orders before we asked based on our responses, and was always there as we needed him. The food was amazing, from the initial little tasters to the main dish. They also were to accommodate any requests. I would highly recommend this Bar Prima

                                                            Service and ambience were great. Food was fine/good, not memorable. In my opinion overpriced for the serving amounts and for the flavor of the dishes. Still, good experience overall.

                                                            We had some high expectations of this restaurant because of the publicity and was pretty much satisfied before meeting our server. Her attitude, opposite to the one towards other guests, and according quality of service made this experience uncomfortable. The food is okay, but all the dishes came cold. Wanting to leave the place faster, we did not even look at the dessert options. The interior and music were great, the service crossed the line.

I only gave 4 stars out of 5 because of the acoustics in the main dining area are less than desirable. Even when it was 1/2 full, I could barely have a conversation without yelling. As the night went on and the restaurant was at capacity, we had to shout across the table.

                                                            One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, every dish was excellent, and with service the match. Excellent cocktails as well. We will be back.

                                                            Our experience at Bar Prima was phenomenal! From the minute we walked in the restaurant and ambience is beautiful. Rachel served us and she was great. Very knowledgeable about the menu and everything went very smoothly. The food was fantastic, not a single crumb/piece of anything left of all 6 of our plates. Definitely would go back
