Enjoy an intimate dining experience at Bar Isabel - a cozy restaurant nestled between Toronto's little Italy and little Portugal, where creative Spanish-inspired small plate dishes are served alongside cocktails and an extensive Iberian focused wine list. Managed under the guidance of Maitre d' and Partner Alessandro Pietropaolo, Bar Isabel's menu includes a diverse mix of pintxos, conservas, seafood and meat dishes. Diners rave about the grilled octopus, the bone marrow and the ceviche. For dessert, the Basque cake and sherry cream is a must-try. Bar Isabel is open 5-11pm Sunday through Friday, and 12-11pm Saturday. Accolades include listings in the Michelin Guide, Canada's top 100, and 2013 awarded the best new restaurant in Canada by Enroute Magazine. Bar Isabel accepts reservations for parties of up to 8 guests.

    I was not impressed with my bone marrow. Which was highly recommended. I hardly got a spoonful. I regret now not saying anything. When I showed People my bone marrow, the said there is nothing in there. I feel I got ripped off.

    Great shareable plates! The octopus and pork secreto were incredible. Our server was amazing, we wanted to try some Sherry wines and she recommended the perfect pairings for our courses!

    very good selection and craft of dishes and drinks. The only thing that disappointment me was the premium Jamon; it wasn't cut thin enough for the best taste and the quality wasn't the best for the high price.

    Authentic Spanish tapas in a super cute bar. I would recommend the tasting menu if it is your first tine. Quality of the food was supreme and service was really above and beyond. The only tiny area for improvement was the cocktail. I ordered gin and tonic and the taste was good but nothing impressive like the rest of what we had. But in a nutshell, this place has so much to offer to create a memorable time for the guests in my opinion.

    I can easily say this is one of the best restaurant/bars in Toronto. Everything matched my expectations and even exceeded. The food portion is big and worth the value. The drinks were extremely delicious. The vibe was a 10/10. They were the best at giving recommendations and making sure you are having a great time. I definitely recommend this place.

    Some of the best food I’ve had in the city in a while. Every fish was delicious, the octopus did not disappoint and the ceviche was another standout. Can’t recommend enough
