   Service was excellent, attentive and gave great wine recommendations. Stunning setting. Food however was just ok...with so many great restaurants in the city this really wasn't on par. With that kind of price ticket the food should be part of the story to tell, not just the décor. Sadly, I will not be going back and would not recommend. The music was painful...switching from annoying modern jazz to pop songs such as the theme song to Men in Black... Aussi, il est très décevant dans cette ville de tomber sur du personnel qui ne parle pas un mot de français.

   A lovely venue with delicious food and great options for photo taking. My only issue is that this visit was for my friends birthday (I made a note on the booking) and no birthday wish was given, even when I mentioned to the waiter that it was my friends birthday - nothing! Disappointed !!

   We dined here for dinner as previously I'd only had brunch here. The service from Alonso was superb. He took time to answer all our questions about the menu and explained in detail the various flavours we could expect from the dishes we ordered. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The quality of the food, the presentation at table side was high end. If Montreal had Michelin star restaurants I'm sure Bar George would be a contender!! Highly recommend going here for dinner or brunch.

   We were wanting a table in the bar area but we got seated in the restaurant. while making the booking the question is asked bar or table, not bar or restaurant. we wanted to take drinks and felt uncomfortable there for we ordered a few snacks.

   Food was excellent as it's always been. I started with the mushroom soup which was excellent Richard had a pate encrout. For our entrees, I did the Beef Wellington, which was prepared perfectly. Richard had the guinea hen which also was excellent and the skin was beautifully crisp. For dessert we had the Kalamansi, which was nice and tart.

   George’s Bar is my favourite place in Montreal. Steeped in history and a must visit. The staff are exceptional, and it’s great for any occasion. You’ll be very happy if u take me up on my recommendation. I got a glimpse at their event spaces and staff as well. Very Lux. Kudos

   I don't have enough words to describe how amazing the whole experience was. From the manager, Demetrios, to the waiter, Jeremy, and even the front desk hostess - everyone was beyond kind, professional, and so welcoming. The food was unreal, the atmosphere was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. Definitely one of the best culinary experiences I've had with the most amazing staff and environment. So much love for this place and coming here every time when I visit from NYC. Perfect for casual drinks/snacks or a special life event :)

    Service was very slow, we ordered starters and mains, and waited a long time before and between each course. The food was good but just slightly above average by Montreal standards: we ordered the Whole Rock Bass and the Beef Wellington. This is a fairly pricey restaurant, so overall I give it a slightly below average rating in regards to the value of the experience.
