Chef Franck Bacquet of Lille, France is a veteran in the kitchen. Along with his wife, Michele, they invite you into their home to enjoy their favorite European dishes in this warm and inviting atmosphere. What they have created is a complete dining experience, reminiscent of being in Paris. Enjoy fine art and even finer cuisine, served by the most professional service staff that could exist in America. Have a Chef or Michele browse the wine library and select a bottle or glass to accompany your meal. Bacquet's serves an entire experience, so much more than just a meal.

    Enjoy a 2-course lunch Tuesday-Friday 11am-2pm. Chef will prepare a special daily entrée, plus choose our soup du jour or house salade with shallot balsamic vinaigrette. The daily entrée is not announced in advance, but you can bet it will be delicious! Beverage, dessert, and gratuity NOT included. Additionally: The full lunch menu is also available with lunch ranging from our soup du jour and salade for $14, up to Salade Niçoise for $24 or our dinner portion of Salmon Champenoise for $44.     The best restaurant in Boise, hands down! The food is phenomenal, the service team makes you feel at home, and you leave feeling like you’ve had a mini European getaway. This is definitely a must-try spot!

    So love, chef and his staff, the food is amazing every time my husband and I go there with the kids. We feel like we’re going to visit family.  Fine dining and Idaho. 🎉

    A Monumental Disappointment! Do not Patronize!. We recently moved to Eagle, and Bacquet's was on our list of restaurants to try. We did so recently for a birthday celebration. We found initially the ambiance nice, including the music. Frack Bacquet's wine suggestions were good to accompany their excellent French Onion soup and bread. The service was satisfactory. After that, unfortunately, the meal entrees were a total disaster. The two entrees ordered were nothing more than luke-warm leftovers, most likely from pre-Christmas cooking. They were totally unappealing. It was clear that the kitchen staff did not know what good food was all about or perhaps they did not have enough staff. Franck Bacquet I am sure would respond about sending them back. However, at good/excellent restaurants this is not necessary. Unfortunately, one of us ended up with a stomach ailment after dinner. This is not a good restaurant choice. Bacquet's (the restaurant) and Bacquet (Franck, the owner) should be retired in my opinion. They have had their day in the sun. --

    So sorry Cindy! We're always "shooting" for perfect, but our first Christmas Eve was a bit more of an adventure than we expected... especially with the new dynamic of OpenTable. I hope the extra portion of sea bass helped satisfy your husband. After this many years, you're pretty much family. Love you both! Happy New Year! Michele

    Made Christmas Eve reservations, and the 3 of us were very excited to try this place for the first time. We arrived about 15-20 min early, but seated right away by the hostess. It was busy, but I didn’t get the impression overwhelmingly so. There seemed to be lots of staff and empty tables off and on throughout the night. Our waitress was very inattentive. We waited 25 min for waters and then another 10 before she came back with water and took our orders. It was another hour before appetizers started to come out. We’d ordered two bowls of soup, charcuterie and escargot. Soup came another 30 minutes after the first two items. We are two hours in now and no entrees. Meanwhile our waitress is barely present, never checks on us, nor offers to pour more wine, nothing. Despite serving tables on both sides of us. Entrees arrive, and they’re fine; nothing we were blown away by. Overall the food was okay, but forgettable. And for a $350+ bill it just wasn’t worth it for lackluster service.

    Other than the misunderstanding about coursing your dinner, it sounds like your evening went perfectly. We are a traditional European restaurant. Your meal is delivered in courses, with the next course being "fired" when all guests put their utensils down. While your server may have seemed "inattentive", I assure you she was watching and waiting for the last person to finish before "firing" your next course. In fact, her lack of intrusive service is exactly what I would expect out of a true professional. We do our best to "read the table" and didn't recognize you were anxious to move the meal along faster. I was personally watching over your table and didn't recognize any impatience.     We loved dining here for Christmas Eve! The food and service was spectacular, and the atmosphere so festive. I was also surprised (delightedly so) that Bacquet’s offers non-alcoholic wine options— even sparkling wine with alc removed! So considerate. Merci bien et à très bientôt— We will be back!

    We were greeted at check in and my coat was hung up for me, then shown to our table by a friendly and cheerful staff member. Once seated we received prompt and friendly service and were offered to taste wines that we were interested in ordering. The food was presented beautifully with generous proportions and was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and the server was knowledgable. It was costly, but we knew that going in. Overall a satisfying and pleasant experience.
