   Every experience that I’ve had here has been wonderful. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Rene has done a great job of ensuring that every visit feels like it’s your first time with his revolving menu. The birria and short rib asada is to die for. The flavors and smells of the kitchen remind me of home in Michoacan.

   My wife and I had brunch at Bacanora, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The food? Simply outstanding. My wife enjoyed a hearty machaca burrito, packed with savory, slow-cooked goodness. I had their birria dish, served stew-style—rich, tender, and exploding with deep, comforting flavors. We paired it with a refreshing Mexican Coke, the perfect complement to such a bold meal. Every bite reflected the passion and care that goes into Bacanora’s kitchen—authentic, vibrant, and unforgettable. We love coming back whenever we can get a reservation, and Bacanora always delivers. We left happy, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

   Other than the portion size of the ceviche, everything was to die for! It’s our second time coming. The quality of the food is so fresh. Mexican food can be so heavy but EVERYTHING on the menu is perfectly balanced with something light. Every bite takes you home, the smells and taste are worth the wait. Great service and people, it’s my favorite date to look forward to!

   Bacanora lives up to the buzz——lively, yet intimate. Casual and effortlessly cool. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient waitstaff. Super background music that keeps the energy up but doesn’t drown conversation. And the food! We ordered elote, calabaza, and mole-crusted ribs with frijoles and cilantro salad. More than enough for the two of us, but we made room for flan. All delicious and different. And the cocktails! We had an old-fashioned-type and a classic martini-type, both with Mexican spirits. It’s worth the effort to score a reservation.

   My partner and I had an incredible dining experience at Bacanora. From the vibrant atmosphere and perfectly curated music to the exceptional service provided by Kara, every detail was on point. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with bold flavors that truly impressed. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I appreciated their thoughtful offering of a non-alcoholic beer, which paired beautifully with our meal. And let’s talk about those ribs—absolutely unforgettable! We’ll definitely be returning for another round.

   Several couple friends and we have been trying to snag a reservation for over a year. Finally, we, thanks to Open Tables option to be notified if a reservation becomes available, we got in! Very small space and very unique, loved the decore and entire staff, our server, Daniela, was very attentive and helpful with menu options. Like many restaurants, the music was too loud for two members of our party, who deal with hearing aides, making it challenging to engage in conversation. The food selections are limited to a few tapas-appetizers, several entres that are shareable for 2. The food was excellent, both in taste and presentation. The drinks are unique to the menu-theme. The mescal old fashioned was excellent. Downside is the noice level and the price. Having said that, it was a very unusual and delightful experience.
