   Azteca exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible, but the service was even better!! Roy was outstanding and his recommendation are not to be missed ;) Everything is homemade, including the mind-blowing Mexican corn tortillas, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere, the flavours, the energy...it all takes you straight back to Mexico. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and speak Spanish, which made the whole experience even more immersive. We will be coming back for sure!

   Best Mexican restaurant and favourite restaurant overall in South West! Always have such a nice time here, the food and margaritas are amazing and most of all Roy always creates such a great vibe at the restaurant and is such a wonderful host! Recommend to all my friends!

   Great food but awful, slow, unfriendly service. They also tried to upsell us way more food than was required for our table so beware of this! We were there for over two hours and only offered one drink, took over 30 mins to ask for this bill. This was a Monday night in Jan with only 4/5 tables occupied.

   When we arrived we were told we only had the table for 90 mins which was a little surprising. It’s hard to guage portion sizes (which aren’t that generous) and when we tried to order a little more food we were told we couldn’t because they wanted the table back 20 minutes later. Not as good as the last time we went. Oh yes we also got charged extra for 4 little tortillas that came with one £35 dish that only had 3 each to start with (10 cm diameter ) !!!

    This is the third time I have been to this Azteca and the third time the staff try to slip additional items onto the bill and table which were not ordered but then charged for. Previously they did this with ‘complimentary’ drinks and sides that they wanted us to try. Several members of the management staff are very over familiar and arrogant. The food is authentic but it’s extremely embarrassing to have to keep pointing out incorrect items on the bill and it totally ruined my partners birthday which his friends had travelled across the Uk for to surprise him. It’s a great shame as some of the staff are perfectly pleasant but the others totally ruined the restaurant three times in a row. Check your bill and be wary of ‘complimentary things to try’.
