   Everyone at Azar was welcoming and accommodating. The food is absolutely amazing! This place is worth every penny. There will be a lot of pennies because it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for. Try it! It’s amazing!

   Loved that we were seated promptly at our reservation time. The food was fantastic. The feta appetizer was not even close to what we thought it was going to be, yet still delicious, but there wasn’t much feta. It was more oils and spices and it would have showcased itself better with a soft bread to soak up all the goodness not the fried crunchy bread it arrived with. We each ordered and enter and shared several sides. Bummed they removed the whole chicken as an option. If they still had it we could have also tried several of the other vegetable and salad dishes they have at the front of the menu. One of my kids said it was the best burger they have had in a long time. We also ordered a few steak entrees that were pretty good, not as good as a Capital Grill steak but good. The atmosphere was really nice. I am thrilled I chose indoor seating because it was too hot and humid to sit outside. It was the perfect level of A/C inside, not freezing. At some point music came on and did make it a little too loud. I love background music at dinner but when trying to have a conversation it makes it tough to hear everyone. Our server was delightful and worked hard to make sure our orders were correct. Super pricey but we knew it would be going into the meal. Comparable price tag to a Capital Grill meal in the states. All in all, I would definitely recommend the restaurant and I know we will be back if we visit Aruba again.

   We’ve been coming to Aruba for many years now. Have never been to Azar, well that’s about to change, we had the most amazing meal. Our server was beyond phenomenal, really listened and paid incredible attention to the food allergies at the table and every dish came out perfect!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!!!

   I told our waitress Camilla that I hadn’t had anything to eat all day so I asked her to bring my appetizer quickly which she did. The scallops were delicious. The sea bass was excellent. My husband had the short ribs and said it was excellent also. I had the azar crème brute which was outstanding. Only problem was desert was finished and we were still waiting for coffee. I would definitely go back. Food was excellent and Camilla was excellent also.

   We think Azar is the best restaurant in Aruba. The service (Nicholas) is always top notch and the food is truly remarkable—fresh, delicious and creative. Tonight I tried the Watashee Rice, the chef’s version of paella, and it was a standout. The flavors were varied and bright. Absolutely delicious.

   Great late dinner (9:30pm). Excellent service. Food outstanding. Pork belly, croquettes and grilled romaine simply outstanding. Portions were large.
