Avenue is located over two floors in the heart of Maynooth. Opened in December 2007 by Robert & Bronagh Kennedy, Avenue now boasts a band of loyal customers, gaining a reputation for excellence and winning countless awards. Avenue has long been recognized for quality, consistency and value, along with the buzz of a busy restaurant and the warmth of our friendly staff… with a “Céad míle fáilte” that comes from the heart. Our customers continue to enjoy our great Irish food and that’s because we have a local, natural and honest approach with an easy-going warm style that is both rooted in tradition and yet still modern. Whether it’s our famous chicken wings, chowder, burgers or our renowned Steaks and fish, Avenue always delivers.

    Probably our tenth visit to Avenue over the past few months. It suits us very well, as we pass down the N4 to Dublin and always arrange to meet family here. You want the best Caesar Salad you've ever eaten (according to one of our party-a chef!) Eat at Avenue. You want beef so tender, it falls apart off the fork? Eat at Avenue. You want roast duck-as it's meant to taste? Eat at Avenue. You want Salmon so good, you'd like to order it twice? Eat at Avenue. I honestly cannot fault a single thing! Unfortunately, I'm always driving, so haven't sampled the wine menus but the cocktail bar was whirring the entire time we were there and the virgin strawberry dacquiris were good for our health. Honest, friendly service, with a smile? Five stars isn't enough.
