   It was everthing i hoped for but ten times more, the food was the best i’ve ever had and the service was on par. Super friendly and nice place. Will visit again when i come back to NYC.

   Best dining experience in New York. Bar none. If you haven't been, make it a point to get there. The fact it hasn't received the Michelin 3 star designation is inexplicable.

   Every single course was truly remarkable and clearly a labor of love of flavors, techniques, creativity and foraging. The staff were highly professional and the ambience spotlit the amazing dishes. I cannot wait to go back. This was simply dining at its finest.

   From start to finish, Aska delivered an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is intimate and beautifully designed, making for a perfect setting to enjoy an incredibly well-thought-out tasting menu. Every dish was stunning—not just in presentation but in the way flavors, textures, and ingredients came together so effortlessly. You can tell how much passion and precision goes into each plate, making every bite feel special. The service was exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. The wine pairings complemented the meal beautifully, enhancing the experience without feeling overwhelming. If you’re looking for a Michelin-starred meal that feels both refined and personal, Aska is absolutely worth it. Can’t wait to come back!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable restaurant that exceeded all expectations. As a Swede, I found the ingredients familiar, yet their creative and subtle twists elevated the dishes in the most delightful way. The wine pairing was exceptional, perfectly complementing each course and enhancing the overall experience. In comparison to MASA, another top restaurant I visited during this trip, this establishment offered better value for money. Of course you cant compare the two, but ASKA stood out. I wish I could come back to this place again!! Thank you Chef Fredrik + an amazing team! PS the chef's wife's playlist added to our experience. 10/10!!

   Food is ok, definitely worse than a year ago I would say. Most of the dishes are salty. Seats near entrance is very cold. They change 10% fee for non tipped employee and ask for another 18%+ more. The owner should increase the salary of non tipped employee by 10%, not paid by the customer. Not to say the price increased by 10% from 298 ppl to 325.
