   The food and service were excellent. Top marks to the mussels for starters. Really exceptional. Nice wine and lovely venison stew

   The service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The food was well presented and was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. The Cullen Skink was very tasty. Enjoyed it so much thinking of booking it for my next big birthday in July. Only minor moan is that the music was a bit too loud. Maybe an age thing?

   Food was average on the prices. Haggis started, didn’t taste of much, one of our steaks was over done and the sauces/butters were poor

   Both male and female servers where’d excellent and passed any requirements between them. Just back from Spain and this restaurant beats any of the steaks.

   Our first visit for a pre-theatre meal. Lovely food, excellent, attentive & friendly service. Good value for money. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

   The staff were so efficient. And gave us space espescially as we were undecided about our order. The food was amazing Respect to the restaurant on the localised dishes. Very reapectful between the price and the standard of the dishes.

    Opted for the Market Menu which was excellent value for money with plenty of options. Food was very tasty and service was excellent. Will definitely return.
