A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced.
Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences.
We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable.
Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. In the event of rain, we will notify you as soon as possible to communicate any weather related cancellations and to assist you with rescheduling your reservation.

Beginning November 4th, a.o.c. will require that all guests require proof of vaccination or negative results from a Covid test taken within 72 hours of entry.

It’s pure romance, outfitted with a wood-fired hearth, trees, and ivy curling up the side of the restaurant. It’s the ideal place to linger over bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Parmesan and clams sherry with green garlic—as well as a glass from co-owner Caroline Styne’s deep wine list.

Without doubt, one of LA’s, if not California’s best places to dine. The menu is consistently inventive and delicious, and the staff always makes you feel like you are “coming home,”. Brunch was so marvelous yesterday that we are going back for an encore today!

We left hungry. I never complain but the portions were actually offensive. I don’t mind paying for a nice dinner but they actively tried to rip people off on Valentine’s Day

Maybe it is because it’s Valentine’s Day. I was expecting everything we ate would be really good. The only thing my wife and I liked was the halibut. Perfectly cooked and excellent flavor.

We are never disappointed when dining at A.O.C. And this was again a wonderful meal. It was perfect for our anniversary celebration.

I was there for DineLA brunch. The chicken and waffles were truly delicious. The sticky bun was mediocre. I would have preferred a smaller size but better made one. The staff was very low key, not a lot of attention, which I would have expected at a place like this. But it was fine. I had not been here for about ten years, but I would recommend brunch here.
