A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced.
Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences.
We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable.
Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. In the event of rain, we will notify you as soon as possible to communicate any weather related cancellations and to assist you with rescheduling your reservation.

Beginning November 4th, a.o.c. will require that all guests require proof of vaccination or negative results from a Covid test taken within 72 hours of entry.

It’s pure romance, outfitted with a wood-fired hearth, trees, and ivy curling up the side of the restaurant. It’s the ideal place to linger over bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Parmesan and clams sherry with green garlic—as well as a glass from co-owner Caroline Styne’s deep wine list.

Join us as Suzanne prepares a four-course prix fixe menu from her iconic cookbook, SUNDAY SUPPERS AT LUCQUES. We’ll honor over two decades of amazing menus while spotlighting the best the farmers market has to offer at this very moment. In Keeping with our Supper tradition, Caroline will once again, select wines from her list to offer as a supplemental pairing. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new! Due to the limited space available for this event, reservations will become final after midnight on November 28th. Cancellations after this time will be subject to the full menu charge. $85 per person exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity.

Food was excellent. The menu was dark brown ink on light brown paper. Combined with dim lighting, it as extremely difficult to read.

Eating at AOC is always a treat. The food is inventive and delicious. The ambiance is charming and cozy, both inside and on the patio. The waitstaff is friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a lovely and reliable place to have a great meal to enjoy with friends and familly.

I decided to bring my date to this place as it looked promising. But to my surprise the food was quite below average. The presentation was good but the food itself was awful. We had the brisket and the duck hot plates, and the only good part of the dish that was actually good was the potatoes of the brisket plate. One weird thing we noticed was that there was a difference in treatment between her and I with our waiter. This waiter would then switch off with a much nicer lady but not having the courtesy to present her to us as our new waitress. Kinda odd.

Suzane Goin and Caroline Styne brought back Lucques Sunday Suppers and I am over the Moon. I will be back to the beautiful A.O.C. any Sunday this brilliantly talented team offers this Los Angeles treasure. Nostalgic and oh so delicious. Every bite a celebration. My heart is full. Impeccable service. Kind and warm atmosphere. Scrumptious food. Heavenly.
