   Our server, Katharine, was excellent as always! The timing of our four-course dinner was perfect. So were the food and cocktails!

   We had a 615 reservation and were seated right about at that time. Our server was very good and offered us drinks and appetizer's. The time it took to get our salad and chowder was exceptionally long. Then our meals were even more delayed. Our server kept us updated on the issues in the kitchen, it was out of her control. On the Saturday after Valentines day the kitchen should be staffed to meet the demand. I am sure that tips are shared and honestly if I could change that I would give it all to our server.

   We usually visit Anthony's in Everett, but since it was Valentine’s Day, Everett was fully booked. Luckily, I was able to secure a reservation at the Edmonds location for 6:45 PM. We arrived and were seated promptly at 6:50 PM. Our appetizers—salad and steamed clams—came out fairly quickly, which was a good start. However, the wait for our entrées was much longer. The kids' meals arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered, mine came out around an hour later, and then we were told that my wife's order had been messed up. The server informed us they were remaking it and that it would be on the house, but unfortunately, it took another 30 minutes—meaning she received her meal 1.5 hours after ordering. By that time, the rest of us had already finished eating, which made for an awkward and disappointing dining experience, especially on Valentine’s Day. While we appreciated the restaurant comping her meal and providing free dessert, forgetting an order and such a long delay is a major mistake. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for. We left about 9:05 PM.

   The service was superb. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. It seems that no other restaurant prepares salmon as well Anthony’s. Overall, a delightful and memorable time.

   We were seated at our reservation time at a table for two with a beautiful view. The dining area was quiet away from bar and kitchen. Our server, Kate B., was attentive and helpful. She was friendly but professional. Her manner interested but not intrusive. We appreciated her service. The food was delicious-always. I tried a speciality cocktail-Valentine Bee(?). Very tasty. A wonderful evening!

   Food was great, as always. We really appreciated our server’s offer to move us from our very chilly (drafty window? Or ventilation system blowing?) to a different, warmer table. We tend to dine late and I fear we lingered too long but the staff were very accommodating and didn’t make us feel rushed.
