Remember theses are students doing everything! Gordon Ramsey isn’t in the kitchen telling them how to make the food. Are there some minor gaffes? Sure but it’s delightful to be part of their training process. The food is excellent, the wine pairing lovely. We enjoyed interacting with our servers and learning about their paths to the CIA. We’re already planning a summer visit.

Two MINOR complaints: 1. when the restaurant called to confirm the reservation I was asked if there are any allergies and I told them my wife is gluten free. They did not give the waiter that information. He did ask and did check everything she ordered, but he should have had the information already. 2. The drip decaf coffee was very weak Everything else was fantastic

Absolutely DELICIOUS! We tried some new and unique foods that were out of this world!! Fried quail, lamb, and beef. Even the bread and butter was uniquely delicious!!

Gorgeous place and beautiful experience. The only disappointment, which was not a small one, was that there were so few choices for gluten free. I was unable to have dessert (I don't consider a cheese platter desert) and, given that we were at a world-class establishment and that it's 2025 and gluten is such an issue for so many, we would have had many more choices than we did. I understand gf is difficult with some dishes but it doesn't need to be as difficult given the meal options. In the end I had a salad as an entree and soup, my husband had a burger sans bun (no bun at the CIA?) and no desert option except for the cheese platter and a rhubarb dish (not in the dead of winter). We are still very glad we went but expected more options than we were offered. Thank you for the experience!

Always enjoy dining at American Bounty. Menu currently offers many interesting choices including a fabulous quail appetizer and an excellent black bass main course. Will try to return soon!

The food was yummy; however, one of the soups was tepid versus hot, and a desert was cold versus warm as advertised. The service was mediocre, especially for culinary standards.
