   Loved the ambiance on the patio. Food was perfect and we loved that it was a short walk to Gammage.

   Went for the chefs dinner. Everything was very good. Surprised how quickly they had the food out for such a large group. 6 courses with 6 cocktails. I need a gluten feee meal and they adjusted menu items for my meal, often making something different. Have gone 3 times and never a reaction.

   Music was good, server was sweet. Our food took over an hour to come out, steak was tough, chewy, overcooked, borderline inedible . Waitress promised to take it off our bill but didn’t.

   I believe that the menu is sort of an Asian-Fusion style. I didn’t find much that I liked to eat there, but we stayed at the hotel and had arrived in the evening with no idea of what was around. So, we ate here on the first night. We were VERY shocked to see a few tables left with used dishes and cups … clearly the customers had left, but the tables were uncleared. The restaurant was not busy … I believe we were 1 of 3 total tables at the time. The food was tasty, no question. I asked for the bone-in pork that was presented very nicely and tasted even better. Wife’s salmon was delicious and cooked almost perfectly. Overall, this is a nice place to grab a drink. They have themed dinners monthly that may be fun. Other nights, when the place was much more busy, the vibe seemed lively. Maybe we just hit an ‘off night’.

   We came here a couple years ago when they first opened and enjoyed it but we went again this week and the food was awful. Cold meatballs & the wings were rubbery. Unfortunately will not be back.

   Great food. Great mimosa deal on a Sunday! Love music was awesome. She took song requests from my 9 year old. I ordered the chilaquiles

   The food and beverages were excellent, as was our server Allison. The space was a little “live,” but it wasn’t difficult to carry on a conversation. I’d happily dine at Alter Ego again.

   I brought company here before we watched Wicked at ASU Gammage. I looked the menu up before we arrived and knew there were a couple things I wanted to try. When we arrived we noticed there were also some specials "themed" after the musical and got excited. I had the Thai peanut noodle salad and added steak. Very much enjoyed it, but a little warning if you don't like spicy don't get this. My daughter had the miso salmon, also atop a noodle salad. She was able to eat the salmon and said it was very good, but the noodles were too spicy for her. My friend had the sweet fuji apple salad with chicken and did say it was very good (she finished the entire plate so I don't think she was lying). I also added the crispy brussels and they were very good. I would have liked to try the steak special, but I could not stomach getting a $60 steak dinner I knew I could not finish or take home since we had the show to attend after. Also, would have liked to try the buttercake for dessert....

    Food was good but service was deplorable. Our server didn’t know the menu, it took over 15 minutes to get drinks and weren’t offered refills. Asked for sticky rice and got fried rice. The manager seemed to not be able to handle things (at 5:00) We finally just left, even though we had planned to order dessert.
