*2023 WINE SPECTATOR AWARD OF EXCELLENCE*

Taking inspiration from the landmark Alhambra Palace and Fortress in southern Spain, one of the most famous monuments of Islamic and Spanish Renaissance architecture, our new menu exemplifies the blending of cultures and cuisines across the region.

Showcasing their rich bounty of produce and fish in a modern and convivial setting, Chef Brian Bladfält Landry presents a seasonally inspired menu enhanced with the bold flavors across a variety of the region’s cultures. With distinct menus offered across brunch, lunch and dinner, the dining concept focuses on four sections of small plated dishes – sea, land, garden and table – all meant to be shared.

Alhambra is located on the lobby-level of The St. Regis Washington, D.C. at 923 Black Lives Matter Plaza NW in the heart of downtown D.C. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch, as well as dinner from Monday through Saturday and brunch on weekends.

Professional and gracious staff. Excellent breakfast menu options. Fresh bakery, fruit selections, traditional breakfast entrees were tasteful and served picture perfect. Quiet sophisticated atmosphere.

Amazing food and ambiance. The cocktails are a bit overpriced so you might wanna go somewhere else beforehand! Great service !

It was a dismal experience. After being seated, it took about 20 minutes for our waiter to come to us. Appetizer and entrees were served together, and the chicken entree was overcooked and dry. After finishing and having our plates picked up, it took another 20 minutes to get the attention of the waiter to ask for the check. When the check arrived, we were overcharged a dish which was listed as $18 on the menu but was charged as $25 on the bill. He didn’t seem to be bothered and just chalked it up to “account department made a mistake”. I feel that this restaurant benefits from the prestige of the hotel it’s located in, but quality and service leaves much to be desired. Will take my patronage elsewhere.

I came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, but the service was very disappointing. Despite informing the staff about the birthday cake, no one brought it out or even acknowledged it throughout the entire meal. On top of that, our water glasses were empty for most of the time and no one came to refill them. There was barely any service at all. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

Dear Zita, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm truly sorry to hear that your recent visit fell short of expectations, especially on such a special occasion. Celebrating a birthday should be joyful and memorable, and I regret that we missed the opportunity to make your friends celebration feel acknowledged and cared for. I also want to sincerely apologize for the lack of attentiveness you experienced with both the birthday cake and basic service needs like water refills—this is not reflective of the standard we strive for. Please know that your feedback has been shared with our team, and we are addressing it internally to ensure this does not happen again. Warm regards, Michael Schoutens Director of Restaurants and Bars
