                                                          Have eaten here twice now and food has been really good on both occasions. There is a good choice available and the portion size is very substantial and therefore value for money. Only criticism I would give is that the service can be a little slow even when it's not busy....having said that, I will return.

                                                          Lovely food but place was empty. Which was odd on a bank holiday Monday. Staff was great and couldn't fault anything but would of been nice to have other customers there.

                                                          Alder Café Bar was very good. My issue is with OpenTable. When I clicked on Afternoon Tea to book, I was directed to the calendar and made my booking in the usual way. However upon arriving at Alder Café I was told that the table was for a table only, not Afternoon Tea. Imaging my disappointment for me and my friend. So for anybody booking I would advise to phone the Café and not use OpenTable.
