I have been a regular customer of Akasaka for nearly 40 years. In my opinion, it is the best Japanese restaurant in town for overall quality and service.

This is a wonderfully intimate atmosphere with an incredibly attentive staff. Fantastic sushi and a hilarious owner who keeps me coming back!

Beware. The host told me that making a reservation on open table doesn’t guarantee a table or a place. They sit people as they come in. Making a reservation is useless.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Honolulu! I come to Hawaii every 3 or 4 months and always go there once or twice while I’m in town. Great service and quality of fish.

A good place for sashimi. My daughter and niece, who ordered sashimi with their meal; said was fresh and melted in your mouth like butter. I thought the price was a little high for the amount of food served. However, I highly recommend this place only if you like fresh sashimi and sushi.
