Chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee have over 25 years of combined experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi. They established their culinary careers in Houston where they worked together for years before creating their own restaurants.

Pham and Lee teamed up to bring new curated dining concepts to Houston’s food scene and kicked off a series of omakase pop-up dinners called Secret Taste. Pham and Lee then opened Kokoro in the Bravery Chef Hall in Downtown Houston followed by Handies Douzo in the Houston Heights.

Aiko is the newest concept from the team featuring a sushi bar and seated dining.

This was my second time at Aiko. It did not disappoint in any way. The ambiance was perfect for an intimate conversation. 10/10 experience definitely give this place a try. We will certainly be back!

Outstanding food and service with attention to details. Loved the flounder fin, the oysters and salmon belly. We also enjoyed the wine pairings and meeting one of the Partners. Will return for sure!!

Amazing every time- seriously, excellence in every bite, the service, the EVERYTHING! I am such a snob when it comes to sushi and the experience and everything is perfect here. Just go. 😊

We choose Aiko for a team dinner recently. We all had the omakase. The courses were timed perfectly, allowing us to saver each. The first course was chilled oysters. Yum. The fish was fresh and the seasonings were interesting but not overpowering. My favorite course was the lightly grilled salmon sushi. The dessert course a green tea confection, with strawberry accents. It was a lovely and light end to a fabulous meal

The five course “mini Omakase” is a perfect small meal. Chef Michael and our sushi chef David were very good, very nice and extremely knowledgeable. We will continue ego back frequently.
