   Really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Adalina. The handwritten card was such a nice touch. Favorites from the menu were the gnoccho fritto, rigatoni, and the salmon vesuvio. Friendly staff and great service.

   If Chicago had a “bridges and tunnels” restaurant, this would be it - groups of young women wearing tiaras drinking espresso martinis. Ambivalent waiter - what, no fresh pepper on my $23 “truffle” Caesar? No fresh parm for the lamb bolognese? The one shining star was the beautiful room. But it wasn’t enough.

   Everything was amazing. From the minute you enter this beautiful place. The people working were just amazing and friendly. Such wonderful staff! Food was great. The meatballs and burrata are highly recommended. Will be back to this amazing establishment!

   Can only describe it as “fine”. Nothing wrong, but nothing that would make me want to come back especially at the price point.

   Wasn’t as good as the first time we went, the lumache pasta tastes kinda funny and the Cesar salad was underdressed, and tasted like it was missing its core elements which make it so unique. The chicken Milanese though was fantastic, and the beef carpaccio was good too

   Overall we had a wonderful experience. Service was phenomenal, drinks were great, appetizers excellent. For fine dining we weren’t expecting such a noisy and crowded environment. Nonetheless, we had a great time.

    Experienced a hiccup when first seated, which was probably our fault. We noticed and commented on the noise in the dining area, and were seated in a deserted dining area; which seemed no fun at all. The hostess was gracious and seated us in the main area, and then the fun began. The cocktails were really good and the service was top notch. Unfortunately, I did not hear the server's name, but he was so patient, kept us entertained, and gave outstanding service. We ordered every course level, and every course was delicious. We ordered the gnocco fritto which was stupid good~ a pillow of pasta, aged prosciutto and the ricotta and honey made the whole thing just divine, then we each ordered a pasta course, which was a mistake, because we were full at that point, and then I ordered grilled branzino, which I finished, and husband ordered the veal chop parmigiana, which was HUGE and he still ate most of it. Then came Tiramisu with a Cortado, and Frangelico which capped off a wonderful evening. I would come back in a heartbeat and will recommend to anyone, whether they ask me or not. So thank you Adalina staff for a very memorable meal, and very happy memory.
