   I love dining at Acquolina. This time I found the service inattentive and with some attitude. While disappointing, I’ll try it again to see if I have a better experience in the future.

   We were a group of 4 dining at the ‘high top’ table section of this restaurant, which was fabulous. We were against the far wall which gave us a cozy sense of privacy amongst a very crowded and bustling restaurant crowd. Food was very good - our pasta dish was a little ‘over-bathed’ in pesto but the flavoring was delicious. Service was gracious and attentive. I am sure they had anticipated a faster turnover of our table but we were engaged in the atmosphere and kept running into friends who came by our table to chat. All-in-all, a terrific evening out; good food, good atmosphere - hope to return again.

   Ambiance and background music was perfect. Food was excellent and the pasta came out hot. Service was responsive and friendly.

   We always have a great experience at Aquolina. The pasta & service were both excellent. The ambiance is always nice—everyone enjoying conversation & some wine, & happy to be there. Having said that, the music system was cranked up a bit too much this time, & it was harder to hear our waiter, & those at our table. I always recommend this restaurant to others when asked.

   Loved the ambience and the food was delicious. From the bruschetta and ahi tuna apps to the pizza, eggplant parm, and seafood pasta everything was terrific. Our only complaints were that it was quite pricey and they rushed us bc they wanted our table when we had only been there 1 1/2 hours.

   Atmosphere not very nice. Very loud and tables very close together. Service not great. Worst part was the food. POOR. Eggplant parm was inedible tasted like pure salt, garlic bread was horrible. It had bitter raw garlic on top. Salmon was very bland and dry. Linguine with clams had 20% of the clams unopened. The sauce was bland. So many much better restaurants in Aspen!

   When we arrived for a 7:30 reservation we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table as the people sitting there were taking their time. That said the hostess was very attentive at keeping us apprised of what was going on. Our server was terrific, the food was wonderful with generous portions. We all had perfectly prepared pasta dishes as our main course and everyone was very happy with their food. The appetizers & salads were large enough to share and also delicious. No one left hungry or unsatisfied. It's nice to have a such high quality restaurant like Aquolina that isn't priced for billionaires! We can't wait to go back!

    My husband and I are long time locals and were in desperate need of a date night. We had not been to Acquolina since the new ownership and WOW, were we impressed! The food, the drinks, the ambiance and most surprising, the service were all top notch! You can check a lot of these boxes at a few restaurants in town, but service is an area we are usually disappointed and have come to begrudgingly accept as part of the Aspen experience. However, we sat at the bar and the bartender was fabulous. Made great recommendations from apps to dessert, cocktails to wine pairings. The support staff was on it but not too intrusive. The food was prepared perfectly and we devoured every bite. The owner was engaged with the patrons and took the time to have a fun chat with us. Days later, even my especially picky husband, is still raving about his veal parm and our overall experience. We look forward to another date night here soon!
