   We celebrated a birthday with our family. Everything was great. We had a wonderful dinner, the food was excellent service excellent. We also were there on New Year’s Eve. Our experience was great.

   Sunday is smashburger night and between 4-6 pm, it’s happy hour too. Food is amazing. Service is friendly and attentive. Our favorite place to eat on the North Shore.

   Aboyer continues to be one of the finest restaurants in the Chicago area. The menu is rich and appealing, and the Dover Sole special is fantastic. Excellent service and a fabulous experience all around.

   The Dover sole was absolutely fantastic, and the service couldn’t have been better. We unexpectedly ran into some family members, and the staff went out of their way to seat us together, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend Aboyer and am already looking forward to my next visit!

   Classic French food of Pate, Gougere, Lyonaise Salad, prepared well, but the room is very crowded and noisy on the Saturday night we went. We were celebrating an anniversary and we were so close to the tables on either side of us that we were completely distracted by their conversations since we could hear them so clearly.

   The food is beautifully prepared and delicious. We had dover sole and it was outstanding! Service is excellent. A wonderful restaurant!

   Excellent dinner last night. We came for the Lenten Dover Sole special which was written up in the Chicago Tribune. Oddly, it was not on the menu but when I asked about it, our waiter confirmed that it was available. The fish was outstanding and a generous portion, rice pilaf and broccolini yummy too. All four of us love it According to their IG post, it’s available until Good Friday. I may have to circle back before Easter!

    The food and service at Aboyer is as good as it gets. The former, French influenced classics and American standard are absolutely delicious. The latter, exceptionally attentive and friendly. But the magic of the evening was significantly impacted by the extreme noise level that made conversation impossible and set off our nerves.
