Offering elevated modern American cuisine by Chef Javier Lopez, 71Above boasts breathtaking ocean views from Malibu to Laguna Hills, along with spectacular views of Los Angeles and the surrounding mountain ranges. 71Above is a Michelin level experience featuring the finest ingredients, world-class wine list and craft cocktails. The Restaurant and Skylounge have a Smart Casual dress code. Jackets are not required however, no hats, athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops are allowed. Reservations are held for 15 minutes.

71Above features a 3 course Prix-Fixe menu for dinner only. We kindly ask all dining room guests to participate in the coursed menu. Please be aware, any seating requests are noted, but not guaranteed. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED. 18% service charge is added to all checks.

Enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles with this reservation for our 3 course prefix menu in our dining room. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any reason, but will do our best to accommodate requests. No a la carte menu is available in the dining room and we kindly ask all guests to participate in our 3 course, $103.00 per person menu. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed. Children are welcome but we are a fine dining adult atmosphere.

Fue una excelente experiencia que tuve en tan exclusivo restaurante, el servicio y el carisma y la atención de las meseras en especial María y Jessica fue excelente y con un buen nivel de profesionalismo hacia el cliente, desde que entras al edificio luego te conducen al elevador y te acompañan a la entrada del restaurante todo fue una experiencia inolvidable muy bonita y quiero compartirla con ustedes.

My dining experience at 71Above was great! The food was unique and definitely fun to try—everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. While I do wish the serving sizes were a bit larger considering the price, the overall quality made up for it. The drinks were strong and well-crafted, and I was lucky enough to get a window seat (booked it two months in advance, totally worth it). The whole experience felt intentional from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the summer menu since it’s seasonal!

Todo muy rico, pero para el estándar qué debieran manejar no es el mejor. El pulpo estaba algo quemado y la carne con demasiada sal. El servicio excelente. Bien para pasar un rato agradable.

The main reason people go to 71Above is to enjoy the stunning view of Los Angeles , but don’t get your hopes up. Most of the tables are placed in the middle of the restaurant, far from the windows, so the experience is really no different from any high-end spot on the ground. Even if you make a special seating request a month in advance, they completely ignore it. The manager and server were rude and dismissive. They don’t treat guests with any respect, and it’s no surprise they force an 18% tip in advance . they know very well that if tipping were optional, most guests wouldn't leave one based on the service. The food itself is excellent, but you won’t enjoy a single bite because the service ruins the entire experience. It was so poorly managed that they even forgot the birthday cake we had brought in and asked them to serve. That level of carelessness is unacceptable at any restaurant, let alone one that markets itself as fine dining.
