Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
6th and Vine Restaurant and Wine Bar offers a "fabulously flavorful" dining treat with inventive dishes and fresh local produce. The elegant boho ambiance and friendly, professional staff enhance the experience. While outdoor seating provides a delightful setting, and wine flights add to the charm, service can occasionally be slow.

Wonderful service and food. Salmon prepared perfectly. Charcuterie board well balanced and delicious! The house red blend wine was surprisingly excellent.

Food was really good, but had to wait 40 minutes for lunch because they were short staffed. Probably wouldn't make the effort to go again.

Came on a Saturday night and was reasonably busy, this is the only nice justification I can give for the quality of service we received. Arrived for our reservation at 6:40, had a bite of our appetizer at 8:15. No communication, apology, or warning of such significant delays from our server. Paid $80 for three scallops, a single lamb skewer (though it is labelled plural), and 200 grams of short rib. Waited near an hour and a half for ten minutes of eating. No offer for bread or a free drink, and our server appeared to avoid our table for almost 40 mins until it got to the point where two later seated tables were near finished there food. Have eaten at most decent restaurants in WS and never had a bad experience, serious surprise here!

We gave this place a second chance because it seemed like it had potential. However, both times service has left a lot to be desired. From the time we were seated to receiving our entrees was over an hour. Our server was kind but inattentive and was unable to answer simple questions about the menu. And when the food finally did arrive, it was barely luke warm. It’s really a shame for such a cozy spot. If you give it a chance, the ambiance on their back patio is excellent. Maybe I just came on a bad night or two.

When we arrived the atmosphere was nice however the hostess didn’t seat us, she just told us where to sit and pointed to the outside of the building. After finding our own table it took almost 15 minutes before we were greeted by a server for or drink orders. Keep in mind the restaurant was not crowded from arrival to exit. This would not be our first choice again realizing there are so many places close by that we have received top notch service.

waited 20 minutes to get my drink. Food was delivered never got silverware. My order was wrong. The server was a male with a beard and a ponytail. He didn’t really care much about anything. The meal I wanted the short rib of course they didn’t have it. They ran out. this is our first time and me and my husband we won’t be back.

The food and wine were good, but the star of the show was the speed and service. Several different people ensured we were well taken care of and the quickness of food delivery was unbelievable, and although quick, it totally didn't take away from the food quality.

Great food. One of our oarty wears hearing aids...high ceilings and "radio music' from bar made hearing/talking difficult. Lovely space. Awesome food.
