   It is a steak place. We ordered 2 steaks (1 New York and 1 tenderloin) and both came dry and barely warm. Looked like old reheated small pieces of meat. Either that or they were sitting for a while before being served to us. Each one cost over $50. Extremely disappointed.

   We were really excited to try the new “529”, but unfortunately it failed to impress. It is basically a cafe space in a building lobby, not an appropriate space for a full service restaurant. The menu sounded great, but seriously failed to deliver on flavour, and pretty much everything was underseasoned. The service was great, however. Trying to associate itself with 529 Wellington was probably a mistake, as the standard it sets is pretty high and this space is not equipped to get anywhere close.

   I made a reservation here at 529 Uptown. I was surprised when they seated me at a hightop table and not a booth. The chairs at the hightop have a very low foot bar that I couldn't reach, so had I not asked to move to a booth my feet would have been left dangling all lunch. I'm an average height so I would think this would me an issue for anyone under 5'6. The food was good, but nothing mind blowing. Similar to any Earls, which considering the price difference is a little disappointing. We ordered the onion rings, which were great. The sliders, which were mostly just bun and pretty disappointing, along with the blackened chicken sandwich, which was also great. The location and ambiance is great, however the bathroom situation definitely leaves something to be desired. The washroom requires a key, but inside it was still bare bones, a little messy and again, not reflective of a high end restaurant. All the wait staff were lovely. Accommodating (They didn't mind moving us to a booth at all) Gave great recommendations and overall provided lovely service.

   Terrific food in an office building's lobby, after hours. Our lighting designer guest talked their ear off, but it seemed valuable advice to me. Great food. Maybe better than 529.

    It was my Brother inlaws birthday excellent first time visit pretty excited to hear about food specials during the Jets game pretty awesome experience will definitely come by again but this time before the Jets or even when the teams away great place very peaceful
