I didn’t realize this is an open air restaurant. There used to be a restaurant called Savoy that was inside of Rock Center and you could see the skaters and ice skating rink. Not sure what happened to that restaurant but miss it terribly. Five Acres was ok but too open for me.

Arrived 30 minutes before reservation and was seated right away. The ambience was terrible since it is an open restaurant with hundreds of people walking by. The restaurant was out of many dishes which was extremely disappointing and we decided to find another place to dine. Considering this is a very busy time of year, the restaurant should be more prepared. I would not recommend eating here at all.

Made a reservation for 10 ppl during holidays, were surprised that they had a private room that was very quiet right in the heart of all the holiday excitement.

We sat down and it took about 15 mins before we were asked what type of water we wanted. (We had already chosen drinks and apps but couldn’t tell the waitress as she ran off) another 10 mins go by and we get the water. Everything was slow like that, ordering, getting our food, etc. About halfway through our meal, our waitress disappeared and the manager had to take over our table. The portion sizes were tiny and bland. My 14 year old son ate his meal and mine and was still hungry afterwards.

We never had one server visit our table more than once. The woman who took our food order wasn’t the one who took our drink order or delivered food or drinks. We also never had anyone check if we needed anything. Literally just got our order taken, food delivered, and drinks delivered. We had to ask the runner for refills and a bus person for our check. The restaurant was not that busy but it seemed like there weren’t many actual servers so the ones they had were stretched thin. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the food was really good! It just was a reaaallllyyy slow pace.

Food was amazing, wait wasn’t bad. After our food was delivered our waitress seemed to have forgotten we were there. Paid on our way out but couldn’t hold the tip as it was figuring in. Hopes for better days there!
