   We love 1776; it’s our favorite restaurant in Delaware. We’ve been fortunate to have Kathy as our server the last couple of times we’ve been there and she is wonderful. I seem to gravitate towards the surf and turf with a lobster tail and filet although I’ve tried other entrees and enjoyed them equally as well. Reservations are a must and you’ll appreciate the efficiency of the seating yet you’re not rushed through dinner. 1776 never disappoints!

   Celebrating our anniversary this evening was a pleasure. John was our waiter and he was beyond excellent. Definite keeper. Food excellent as always.

   As always 1776 was wonderful! Alex, our server, was attentive and so nice! Tom has the best restaurant in this area! The noise level is always high because diners are having such a good time. The food is delicious. We love that the menu remains relatively the same with consistently great food! 1776 is definitely a destination for very special moments in your life! Thank you, Tom, Alex, and all for a lovely evening!

   Outstanding service and a great meal. Prime Rib best in town, Filet Migon Trio was outstanding also. Wife had the Chicken Penne Pasta dish and loved it. The waiter was very attentive and bought the cuts of meat to our table to review. Thank you for such a great time.

   Our waitress was wonderful. My prime rib was cooked very well. We also had a filet mignon that was delicious but the vegetable the broccolini was undercooked. Other than that, it was a great experience.

    We love 1776 and have turned ma y friends onto it. Everything is exceptional - food, cocktails and desserts. Fantastic service. Wonderful ambiance. So unexpected given its location. In addition, management really goes out of their way to accommodate you!
