    I wanted to find a creative menu driven by local & seasonal ingredients. I ordered the Fish of the Day special and I loved it. On my visit, they had Cobia and served it with a delicious succotash that included toasted hazelnuts, corn and beans. I have been trying the many ways chefs prepare baked oysters in the Savannah area and liked the herb-butter crumb with lemon butter they served. Two things stand out, first the flavors just work together well but most important, they weren't over-cooked and dried out. To wrap up my meal, I ordered the Sholeh Zard and Ice Wine. The Sholeh was delicious, with a nice balance of flavors and not too sweet; it paired with the ice wine beautifully. And just for the fun of it, the open kitchen makes you feel like you're right in the middle of it.

    Huge, beautiful, high-ceilinged room with an open kitchen made for an elegant setting. There was a major event going on down the hall so there was some noise spillover, but as soon as the audience was let into the room, the noise quieted. The food was superb, plated and cooked with obvious care. We loved the cauliflower appetizer, and both the mustard chicken and the duck were excellent. Great service. Overall, a special place to dine.

    Polite but lackadaisical service. Benne seed cornbread was excellent; steak was tough and overly sauced. Lamb sausage was good.

    We very much enjoyed our experience! My only feedback was the lighting. With an 8 pm reservation we would have preferred some dimmer lighting but it in now way affected us wanting to come back. Just a suggestion!

    LOVED this place. The food and service were absolutely incredible. We started with some roasted oysters that were tasty, beautifully prepared--and served with homemade hot sauce that lent a lot of flavor and a little heat. Kelly, who waited on us, was super-knowledgeable, friendly and helped us choose some delicious wines (a white pinot noir--so good!) Our entrees were spectacular. Homemade Merguez sausage and cous cous tagine style -- better than we'd eaten in Morocco! And the chicken with spaetzle was the epitome of Grandma's comfort food --if Grandma was a direct descendent of James Beard. We barely had room left, but had to try one of the you-can't-find-this-anywhere-else desserts. We split a scoop of the chocolate mole and marshmallow ice cream, and I'm still dreaming about it. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

    This was a very creative dining experience. The room is amazing. The kitchen feels like it is part of the room. If you do not care for alcohol the mocktails are delicious. The menu is GREAT! The flavors are so interesting and exciting. If you appreciate creative thoughtful taste bud awakening food in a stylish airy room this is the restaurant for you! Do not miss this restaurant!
